Kakia Thalassa

Kakia Thalassa beach

Kakia Thalassa (bad sea) is said to have been so named since ancient years, when Poseidon sent huge waves to protect the Greeks from the barbarian ships.

Contrary to its name, it is a sandy beach where you can enjoy a relaxing swim in shallow and clear blue waters. The area on the beach also offers its visitors an alternative sport activity... climbing, in one of the best climbing fields one encounters near Athens!

Also characteristic is the peninsula with the small church at the top where you can enjoy the view of the Aegean.

Limanakia Daskaliou

Limanakia Daskaliou

Right after Kakia Thalassa, you will find the bay of Daskaleio, which is divided into smaller coves with larger and smaller beaches, some organized and others not (1st, 2nd and 3rd port).

Due to its geography, Daskaleio resembles an island, with beautiful white houses with flowered gardens adorning the slopes, like the country of a Cycladic island.

Visit the chapel of Agios Alexandros built right on the rocks in the Third Port of the area, a beautiful church ideal even for summer weddings!
